AERank does not promise a permanent “number one” AI ranking. Answer-engine responses change with the prompt, model, location, time, web sources and product experience.

Technical Quick Scan

The free scan checks public website availability, HTTPS, crawler instructions, sitemap discovery, page identity signals and structured data. Automated findings are preliminary and should be verified before changing a production website.

Verified Recommendation Audit

A verified audit defines buyer-intent prompts and locations before testing. Each prompt is repeated across supported, search-enabled answer-engine APIs. We record the exact prompt, model, time, location context, answer, mention order and cited sources.

Recommendation Share

Recommendation Share is the percentage of eligible, repeated tests in which a business is recommended. It is a frequency measurement—not a universal search position. We report sample size and testing conditions with every score.

Consumer products and APIs

Official APIs provide repeatable testing and evidence, but they do not perfectly reproduce every person’s experience inside consumer ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Perplexity products. AERank identifies this distinction in its reports.

Google visibility

Traditional organic visibility and Google Maps presence are reported separately from AI recommendations. They use different methods and should not be combined into a single unexplained score.

Human verification

Paid beta reports are reviewed before delivery. Similar business names, stale sources and incorrect AI statements are flagged rather than silently treated as valid recommendations.
